The Non-Mobile Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of stationery and trailer-mounted equipment including light plants, portable generators, air compressors, fuel transfer systems, and similar support units. Technicians may be involved in helping design and fabricate equipment modifications to set standards per client /company request.

•Maintain and demonstrate proficient working knowledge of all equipment, policies, and procedures.
•Initiate problem solving and complete timely maintenance and repair on vehicles, equipment,
•Conduct preventative maintenance {PM's) on all Hilcorp's lifting equipment according to monthly PM scheduler, conduct modifications and repairs.
•Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines.
•Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs or replace defective parts.
•Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules and repairs.
•Ensure a safe work environment.
•Build integrity, honesty and trust with stakeholders, clients, and employees.
•Establish and maintain rapport and strong working relationships with co-workers and client representatives.
•Comply with all guidelines, policies and procedures established by CCI Industrial Services and clients while on shift, on call, or attending training.

+ Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
+ Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives.
+ Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
+ Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
+ Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
+ Promote and participate in Safety Programs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Knowledge of small engines, diesel and gas-powered systems, generators, light towers, and trailer-based equipment.
•Knowledge of scheduled service intervals, inspection procedures, and equipment lifecycles.
•Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for field repairs.
•Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in repairs and safety checks.
•Skilled with logging maintenance records, service reports, and safety checklists accurately.
•Ability to clearly speak, write, read and understand the English language.
•High organized and can prioritize multiple requests from different departments and managers.
•Ability to use a computer
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
•Must be at least 18 years old
•High school diploma or GED is required.
•Able to work with minable supervision
•1-2 years of verifiable mechanic or combination of mechanic/training experience
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience working on the North Slope
•2-3 years of experience working on non-mobile equipment
•2-3 years of experience working on tires
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
Position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors. This position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and waste.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. •MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
•LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
•HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
•VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
•RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurements will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
