Non- DOT Driver

Total Safety is looking for a Non-DOT Driver

to join their safety conscious team! The Non-DOT Driver Drives a commercial truck and a variety of trailers to pick up, haul and unload equipment and supplies to and from job sites and customer locations. Complies with current DOT regulations.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Uses hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Shop, yard, traffic and customer environments. May be frequently exposed to wet, humid weather conditions and vibration. Shop, plant and highway traffic. High pressure, chemicals, shop traffic. The noise level in work environment is usually moderate.

Duties involve the use of several procedures or processes and generally have predetermined standards. Uses some judgement to arrange job details in order to achieve pre-determined objectives. Requires some ability to analyze and resolve problems. May suggest process improvements.

Direct supervision: Specific instructions are given on assignments or follows written or verbal instructions and established procedures and standard practice to perform assigned tasks.
