We are growing! Pacific Steel in Billings is looking to expand. We are currently looking for motivated people to fill Night Shift Positions. One of the big benefits to this new shift are the hours. Four ten hour shifts, 10 PM to 8:30 AM Monday through Thursday. What does that mean for you? A three day weekend! This is a great opportunity to have an impact on the future of Pacific.

This position is responsible for serving customers, handling and preparing materials for processing, general maintenance, clean-up, loading/unloading trucks, and stocking material.

Responsibilities and Duties

KEY RESULTS:

- Provides excellent customer service:

- Correctly completes applicable paperwork for steel order.

- Performs work in a safe and productive manner:

- Operates safely and efficiently a variety of equipment, which may include: shear; press brake; band, hot and chop saws; rebar bender; iron worker; drill press; punches; overhead crane; forklift; hydraulic press; burner; and various hand tools.

- Complies with OSHA and branch safety standards for handling, processing, blocking, storing, and stacking product. Complies with all other regulatory requirements including federal, state, local, company and customer rules or statutes.

- Participates in safety meetings, assists in training new employees, and assists other departments as necessary.

- Daily demonstrates commitment to be present and work all hours assigned.

- Cooperates with employees, customers, suppliers and all others with honesty, integrity and respectful manner.

Qualifications and Skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and maximum of 100 pounds occasionally, pushing and pulling up to 80 pounds, gripping, squatting, bending, climbing, standing, walking, reaching, transferring, stacking and loading of steel products.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions with moderate levels of noise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Driver’s License

Strong customer service skills

Ability to perform math calculations

Good work ethic, with high honesty and integrity.

Background checks and pre-employment drug tests required.
