NGM - Underground Mining Professionals, Expression of Interest

Position Description:

Available Positions include:

- Underground Operational and Maintenance Leadership roles

- Underground Engineering (Mine Planning & Geotechnical) roles

- Underground Auto Electrical Field Engineer roles (New!)- Involved in all electrical and electronic systems activities associated with autonomous and specialized mining equipment. This role requires expertise in regulatory requirements and advanced electrical and engineering practices.

- Underground Maintenance Field Engineer roles (New!)- Participates in all maintenance activities related to autonomous and specialized drilling equipment, focusing on mechanical components, structural machinery, and pressure systems. This position supports safe and efficient mining operations.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience working in Australian underground mines.

- Demonstrated ability to drive a Zero Harm culture.

- A bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geology and demonstrated field experience in maintaining equipment or equivalent OR twelve (12) years of specialized and advanced underground maintenance of Sandvik, Komatsu, and/or Caterpillar equipment is required.

- Relevant trade certificates or tertiary qualifications.

- Expert knowledge in engineering, design, and mining industry standards.

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Must be an Australian Citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.

- Ability to share knowledge and expertise with others.
