NETA Technician

Job Overview

Rev1 Energy is expanding its power systems group and seeking NETA-certified Technicians (Level I–III) to support relay and apparatus testing for utility and industrial clients.

Duties

- Perform relay testing, apparatus testing, and commissioning on substation equipment

- Test breakers, transformers, switchgear, CT/PTs, batteries, and protection systems

- Use Omicron, Doble, Megger SMRT/SVERKER, and similar equipment

- Execute point-to-point checks, logic verification, and end-to-end testing

- Prepare detailed test reports

- Travel to project sites as needed

Requirements

- Current NETA Level I, II, or III certification

- Experience in relay testing and/or apparatus testing

- Strong understanding of protective relaying schemes

- Ability to read one-lines, schematics, and P&C drawings

- Ability to travel (remote candidates welcome)

Preferred

- Experience with SCADA/RTU testing and communication protocols

- Experience on utility/substation projects

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
