The NDT Process Owner shall be designated by the employer with have the responsibility and authority to ensure that all customer NDT-related requirements are met and to qualify and certify individuals.
Include the following as well as any other duties that may be assigned. In addition to Level I and Level II duties and responsibilities, the NDT Level III must perform the following:
· Create and review internal documents and procedures to ensure compliance to industry and customer specifications.
· Reviews customer drawings, specifications, and PO requirements for impact on NDT procedures.
· Facilitate training and examinations to certify NDT personnel.
· Generates and administers strategy and planning for the nondestructive testing of internally manufactured parts and NDT test equipment.
· Purchasing of materials and equipment necessary to perform NDT inspections.
· Review and approve NDT process operation process sheets and production.
· Develop techniques for the applicable NDT inspection method and submit them to the appropriate customer representative for approval, as required.
· Review ENCR’s and document changes prior to implementation.

· Must be qualified in accordance with applicable SOP Qualifications and Certification of NDT personnel.
· Two-year technical degree in Nondestructive Testing, Material Science and Metallurgy.
· 5 years minimum experience in Quality/Manufacturing is preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as basic computer skills is preferred.
· The job requires being able to lift a maximum of 60 lbs.
· The Responsible Level III must pass a Visual Accuity examination (Snellen, Jaeger, and color perception).
