Field Technician

SÍEnergy, L.P. is currently hiring a full time Field Technician for the greater Stafford area. All candidates will be trained and must pass all required operator qualifications. The following is a list of basic minimum job functions that all field technicians must be able to perform. Once training and qualifications are met, all field technicians are required to participate in the On-Call Rotation and be willing and able to work Overtime hours.

Job functions and Operator Qualifications for this position may include, but are not limited to the following:

- Line location

- Customer connect/disconnect

- AMR installation and repair

- System maintenance/repair

- Meter reads

- Meter Installation/repair

- Leak investigation/survey

- Gas Odorization

- On-Call Duty required

- All candidates must meet Operator Qualification requirements for this position or become qualified within the timeframe established by the Company.

Education Requirements:

· High School Diploma or G.E.D

Skills and Abilities Required:

- Must be PC and mobile device literate

- Must be able to apply company and industry safety and regulatory standards

- Must be self-motivated, independent and pay attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Must be able to adapt to prevailing weather conditions, extreme cold – extreme heat

- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, walk for long durations of time

- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, and pull.

- Must be able to traverse uneven terrain on foot

- Works in potentially hazardous conditions caused by pets or wildlife

- Works in areas where exposure to poison ivy, poison oak and insect bites are possible

Other Requirements:

- Must maintain valid Texas Driver’s license

- Candidates must be able to meet all pre-employment background checks, drug screening and physical requirements as determined necessary by the company
