Natural Gas Operator Qualification Evaluator - Northern Indiana

UTI provides 3rd party training and Operator Qualification evaluations for utility companies, contractors and plumbers working in the natural gas industry throughout the states of Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. The OQ department is a fast paced environment that interacts with utility companies, contractors, plumbers, curriculum providers, and in-house departments to provide unsurpassed training and qualification services. This is a perfect position for someone who has retired from the natural gas industry and would bring a wealth of knowledge to our students. The focus of this position is to provide classroom and hands-on skills evaluations for individuals working on natural gas facilities. This position is based out of a home office in the Chicago or northern Indiana area. It is anticipated that this position will primarily cover northern Indiana, although willingness to travel as needed is important.

A typical list of tasks for which we provide evaluations are:

Ability to be qualified by ITS, NiSource, Energy Worldnet, and/or Veriforce to perform evaluations. Bilingual is a bonus.

Willingness to travel to customer sites to do evaluations.

Occasional overnight travel.

Pay: $25.17 - $45.00 per hour
