Multi-Craft Foreman

Job Type: Full-Time Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Travel Required) Pay: $25 - $30 DOE Schedule:

Job Description: Our team is seeking a Multi-Craft Foreman to lead and train field laborers. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the technical ability to supervise and train crews made up of welders, riggers, sandblasters, and industrial painters. The Foreman will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while also mentoring laborers on proper work techniques, safety procedures, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, manage, and supervise day-to-day activities of field crews (welders, painters, sandblasters, riggers).

- Monitor productivity and quality of work; provide real-time feedback, coaching, and corrections as needed.

- Read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and work orders.

- Oversee surface preparation (sandblasting), structural welding, coating applications, and safe rigging/lifting procedures.

- Coordinate daily work schedules to meet project timelines and milestones.

- Inspect completed work for quality and conformance to specifications.

- Enforce all site safety rules and OSHA regulations, including confined space entry, fall protection, and respiratory protection.

- Ensure tools and equipment are in proper working condition and used correctly.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in water tank repair, industrial coatings, welding, or rigging.

- At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.

- Ability to train and mentor laborers across multiple trades.

- Strong understanding of jobsite safety procedures and OSHA compliance.

- Proficient in reading construction drawings and job specifications.

- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in physically demanding environments.

- Must be dependable, organized, and able to lead crews under pressure.

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
