Position Summary:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the manufacturing plant by ensuring efficient production scheduling, resource allocation, and communication between departments. This role plays a key part in maintaining production timelines, quality standards, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Coordinate and schedule production activities to meet deadlines and customer demands.

•

Monitor production progress and address any delays or issues that arise.

•

Assist in managing inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure smooth production flow.

•

Work closely with department supervisors and team members to optimize resource utilization.

•

Communicate production plans and updates to relevant stakeholders.

•

Track and report key production metrics, including efficiency, waste, and downtime.

•

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality control standards.

•

Assist in troubleshooting production problems and recommend process improvements.

•

Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

•

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production schedules, materials, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills:

•

Bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field (preferred) or relevant work experience.

•

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

•

Strong organizational and time management skills.

•

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

•

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and production planning software.

•

Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
