Mill Operator

Job Summary:

The Mill Operator will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring the quality of products, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position is a temp to hire position. Benefits and other company perks will be available once 520 hours are worked. Early morning shift. Monday - Thursday (10-12 hour shifts). Fridays and overtime when necessary (Depending on company needs). Training for position will be provided.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor milling machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and cutting

- Inspect machinery to ensure proper functioning

- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications

- Perform routine machine maintenance

- Monitor production output and quality

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

- Experience with press brake machines and mechanical knowledge preferred

- Proficiency in press operation, programming, machining, GD&T, and assembly preferred

- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills

- Able to lift at least 90 pounds

- Able to work in a hot environment for 10-12 hour shifts.

- Ability to use hand tools

- Ability to stand for a long period of time

- U.S Citizenship required

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
