ROLLER DIE AND FORMING, a roll-forming, stamping, and powder coating facility located in the heart of Rossville, is seeking a full time machine operator with experience running machines, roll lines, press brakes, roll mills, stamping, and/or industrial steel machines.

Starting Salary: $17/hr ($18.25/hr with weekly bonus attached - see next bullet) A higher rate of pay is possible if the candidate has demonstrated experience, skills, and tenure specific to this role and our expectations.
•$50/week bonus, just for working your shift (this is subject to change) - If you work 40 hours per week, that adds $1.25/hour to your paycheck.

Position Summary
Rolling Machine Operators operate a rolling machine that uses rollers to reduce the thickness of metal, shaping the metal into specific profiles by passing the metal between pairs of rotating rollers.
•You may be moving heavy parts during your daily work and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 300 pounds.
•Machine set-ups: Have the skills and aptitude needed to perform changeovers and set-ups following schematics, if required.
•Production: Must be able to produce quality parts within specified timeframes.
•Quality: Quality before production - must be able to perform quality checks utilizing calipers and/or micrometers, tape measurer, and visual inspection to avoid running bad parts and decrease scrap.
•Safet: Safety above all - Must follow all safety protocols, company policies, and standard processes and procedures.
•In a safe manner, operates manufacturing machinery, conducting intermittent quality checks to ensure the parts meet the customer specifications.
•Fits and assembles parts to make or repair metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines
•Plans and executes assignments using a host of hand tools.
•Must have experience and understand how to use micrometers and calipers to check accuracy of work.
•Correctly completes all required paperwork.
•Flexibility required: May move machines or departments - Must be a team-oriented person willing to do what it takes to help reach goals.
Qualifications
•Mechanical aptitude is required
•Ability to accurately read calipers, micrometers, and or a tape measurer
•Proficient use of hand and power tools
•Experience running manufacturing machinery (i.e. Roll Mill, Press Machine, etc.)
•Experience setting up manufacturing machinery is helpful
•Excellent trouble-shooting capabilities
•Experience must speak to the responsibilities of this position
