Situated 10 kilometers west of Kamloops, British Columbia, the New Afton Mine is an underground gold and copper producing site.
Kamloops is a city of 90,000 people, located 350 kilometers east of Vancouver. The area provides the opportunity to live and work in a vibrant community with its own university and within easy reach of world class ski resorts, championship golf courses, mountain biking trails, popular recreational lakes and award-winning vineyards.
Schedule: 7 on, 7 off, 12 hour shift, rotating days and nights. Internal applicants may be required to change crews in order to fulfill the role.
Position Overview: Safely operate mill processing circuits to meet production targets. The Mill Operator will actively pursue development in the mill operations progression program to become a proficient Mill Operator 1. Required progression through level 3, and 2, with increasing skill and responsibilty at each level.

The anticipated salary for this position will be between $80,000 to $90,000. A comprehensive benefits program and performance bonus plan will also be provided.
