About This Job

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meter Technician to join our team at Cotton Electric Cooperative, Inc. This position is responsible for:

•

Testing and maintaining electric meters,

•

Assembling three-phase loops for new construction and replacements, and

•

Supporting daily operations in the Meter and Transformer Shop

Qualifications:

•

A high school diploma or equivalent is required

•

A valid Oklahoma driver license

Skills and Abilities:

•

Proficient in basic computer operations, including use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

•

Ability to enter, retrieve, and analyze data using company software and systems

•

Familiarity with electronic work orders, inventory systems and maintenance tracking tools

•

Comfortable using a tablet in field operations

•

Ability to learn and adapt new technologies and software platforms related to meter testing and reporting

This position is classified as safety sensitive in compliance with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act and the Cooperative Policy 306A: Controlled Substances and Alcohol Use and Testing.
