We are seeking a motivated Metallurgist Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience across various engineering functions, including design, analysis, testing, process improvement, integration, and systems engineering. You’ll support multidisciplinary teams on real-world projects while learning the processes and culture of JSW USA and the steel manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist with engineering tasks related to design development, analysis, and system integration.
•Support process improvement initiatives through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
•Participate in mill experiments, evaluate results, and communicate findings to operations teams.
•Gain exposure to site logistics, jobsite coordination, safety procedures, and quality control.
•Develop proficiency in reading technical plans, models, and engineering documents.
•Apply value engineering principles to optimize design and project execution.
•Use laboratory equipment for process analysis and contribute to troubleshooting efforts.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve engineering challenges.
•Contribute to ongoing engineering projects, providing insights and support where needed.
•Prepare detailed reports and present findings and lessons learned to management at the conclusion of the internship.
•Complete additional tasks and assignments as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications:
