Education: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline required.
A minimum of 4 years' experience in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in the execution of engineering projects analyzing, planning, organizing and directing facilities implementation, and service/support functions is required.
• Proficient with 2-D and 3-D modeling (e.g., AutoCAD and SolidWorks)
• Computer skills, including utilization of various software including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Can read and comprehend mechanical and electrical prints
• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, facilities support systems and equipment
• Experience with control systems (e.g., DeltaV) preferred
• A strong background utilizing lean tools and experience with various problem-solving methods preferred
• Demonstrated expertise with complex mechanical engineering solutions
• Ability to improve products or services by applying professional and business knowledge
• Able to solve complex problems; makes decisions based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
• An acute sensitivity to safety issues in a hazardous environment
• Must be an independent thinker with the ability to make sound, logical decisions
• Demonstrates ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information
• Expects exceptional personal performance and team performance
• Often solicits feedback and reacts calmly to criticism or negative feedback

• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends as projects require
• Ability to work with all teams of varied backgrounds—hourly and salaried.
• AutoCAD 2D is used; 3D is a plus.
• SAP is a plus—can train on this.
