Mechanical Engineer (Entry Level)

Whirltronics is currently looking to add a talented Mechanical Engineer to our engineering team. The Whirltronics engineering group is focused on the continuous improvement of production using lean principles and through the design of new and innovative processes and equipment. Responsibilities

· Manage engineering duties related to our customer prototyping of parts

· Design and testing of new product processes/equipment

· Manage projects from concept through to completion

· Use lean principles to identify and implement improvements

· Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

· Provide technical support to the production team

· Create and review technical drawings and plans using CAD software

· Assist with an internal and external engineering team in the design and build of innovative equipment

Experience

· Bachler’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field

· Experience using CAD software such as Inventor, or similar

· Competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook software

· Ability to apply math skills and engineering principles to identify and resolve problems

· Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

· Must be self-motivated and a great team member

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
