Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, with a focus on diesel engines. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to provide excellent service. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Duties
•Diagnose mechanical issues in various types of equipment, including tri-plex pumps, water pumps, atv's, pick up trucks, swab rigs, and service rigs.
•Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication and repair tasks.
•Operate forklifts safely while moving equipment and materials as needed.
•Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
•Communicate with supervisor regarding their equipment needs and provide exceptional service.
•Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
•Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
•Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
•Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Requirements
•Proven experience in diesel engine repair and general equipment maintenance.
•Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various mechanical tasks.
•Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs.
•Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
•Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with supervisors.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
