Position Summary:
•The Mechanic performs maintenance and repairs on company trucks and operating equipment of various types and size. This position requires basic knowledge of repair and diagnostics and responsible for ensuring safe practices and operates under a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Inspect, Diagnose, and Repair on Trucks and Equipment.
•Performs Inspections and Preventative Maintenance of Trucks and Equipment.
•Prepares and Maintains Records and Reports, including Work Orders and Pre-Trip Inspections.
•Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies, as required.
•Monitors and prioritizes projects, activities, and assignments to ensure the completion of deadlines.
•Maintains tools and supplies and a clean and safe workstation.
•Occasionally reports to active work sites to perform various repairs.

Qualifications required:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent.
•2-3 Years’ experience as a Service Technician performing basic repairs on trucks and equipment.
•Class A CDL Driver License preferred (or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
•Basic Knowledge of Various Diagnostic Equipment.
•Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
•Formal technical training and certification preferred.
Working Conditions / Environment: This position operates in shop environment. This position routinely operates in a variety of physical positions, such as sitting, standing, walking, driving, and squatting. This position requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer, and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated. When working onsite, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety vest.
