Morning Dew Landscaping is looking for an experienced, well qualified mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Must enjoy working on vehicles and all types of equipment. We are a very busy shop that works on a multiple variety of equipment each day. Come join our team with a great work environment and where no day is the same.

Responsibilities

· Diagnose and repair all systems on vehicles and all types of equipment

· Must have technical experience to diagnose and use scan tool on check engine light coding, this will also include electrical diagnoses

· Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and all types of equipment

· Must have experience in diesel engines

· The equipment ranges from light trucks to heavy trucks, all construction equipment and mowing equipment

· The ability to work on all snow removal equipment, plows, snow pusher and cinder spreaders. Can be trained, if needed

· This also includes on call needs for all snow removal

· Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all team members

· Perform other duties as required

· ASE certification is a plus but not required

· Must have your own tools to perform every day work needs

· Must be able to lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs

· Strong verbal and documentation skills

· Dependable, responsible team player with a positive attitude

· Regular, on-time and predictable full attendance is an essential function of this job

· Requires frequent standing, moving, walking, climbing, bending and sitting in this position

A valid driver’s license and 3 year clean MVD driving record is a requirement of this position.

This is a full time year-round position.
