Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, inspection, licensing, and repair of a large fleet of vehicles and various equipment. This role ensures that all assets are in safe, reliable, and optimal working condition while adhering to budgetary and operational guidelines. The manager will implement effective maintenance strategies and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs for a fleet of over 1000 vehicles and equipment.
•Schedule and coordinate repairs, servicing, inspections, and licensing for vehicles and equipment located throughout the United States.
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including costs, parts inventory, inspection reports, licensing status, and repair history.
•Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
•Develop budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
•Collaborate with other departments to optimize fleet utilization and availability.
•Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for parts, equipment, and services.
•Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
•High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance management.
•Proven leadership experience.
•Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
•Proficiency in using maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
•Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
•Certifications in vehicle or equipment maintenance are a plus.

•Able to work a desk job requiring long hours of sitting and working on a computer.
•Proficient in using a computer, including typing, using a mouse, and other peripherals.
