Measurement Specialist. Must reside in Canada - preferably Western Canada.
Responsibilities:
•Reviewing and updating metering schematics.
•Manage and oversee meter maintenance, sampling and effluent testing programs.
•Assist with monthly reporting used by Production Accounting.
•Collaborating with Operations and other stakeholders to optimize measurement tasks and budgets.
•Assisting and leading internal and external audits surrounding measurement and reporting practices.
•Identify cost reduction opportunities that aim to minimize metering maintenance activities and slash operational expenses (OPEX).
•Streamlining measurement processes, focused on optimizing measurement-related procedures and ensuring sustained reduction in maintenance.
•Collaborating with the Maintenance Coordinators and technicians for streamlined and compliant practices.
•Assisting with fuel, flare, and vent measurement and reporting practices.
•Engaging in the management of change (MOC) process, including drawing reviews, schematic updates, and regulatory compliance checks.
•Overseeing witnessing of calibrations, proves, and sampling activities where concerns arise.
•Collaborating with Engineering on regulatory guidance for new developments.
•Providing operational guidance to Operations, such as testing practices.
Skills:
•Instrumentation or operations background is an asset
•Strong computer skills, including Microsoft and Google platforms.
•Self-motivated and driven.
Salary: $35-$55/hour depending on skillset.
