As our operations grow, we are looking to expand our Emissions Consulting team with a dedicated Intermediate Measurement Specialist focused on delivering regulatory excellence.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intermediate Measurement Specialist with a strong foundation in Alberta’s regulatory landscape - specifically EPAP (Enhanced Production Audit Program), MARP (Manual 005: Measurement and Reporting Requirements), and AER Directive 017. This role supports both internal teams and clients to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and audit readiness across Western Canada’s upstream sector.
- Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of EPAP assessments and measurement reviews.
- Maintain current knowledge of Directive 017 and MARP requirements, applying them in practical client contexts.
- Assist in identifying and correcting non-conformities and audit triggers.

- Work closely with senior measurement specialists to resolve regulatory and third-party audit queries.
- Provide measurement guidance related to metering, allocations, and facility reporting standards.
- Navigate reporting systems including Petrinex, OneStop, and IRIS.

- Develop and maintain metering schematics and measurement documentation packages.
- Contribute to the creation of client-facing reports and letters that communicate findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance regulatory workflows and measurement accuracy.

- Translate AER expectations into operational best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for clients needing practical support in applying regulatory requirements across their operations.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas operations, with at least 1 year in measurement and/or regulatory reporting.
- Working knowledge of:
- EPAP program principles and audit preparation
- MARP and Directive 017 requirements
- Data and facility tracking systems (e.g., Petrinex, IRIS, OneStop)
- Strong communication and technical writing skills for both internal and client-facing documentation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general business software.
- Ability to travel to client sites and field locations across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
