Measurement Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a candidate with experience in oil and gas measurement to support data validation, discrepancy resolution, and volume analysis using software such as FlowCal and Testit. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of gas and crude oil measurement practices and be comfortable with data entry, analysis, and interdepartmental communication. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of measurement data.

Responsibilities:

- Review gas measurement data and resolve discrepancies using FlowCal, Testit, or similar software.

- Validate collected gas and crude oil measurement data for accuracy and reasonableness.

- Communicate identified problems and concerns to the appropriate internal teams.

- Generate and distribute reports to relevant stakeholders.

- Enter Gas Analysis information into appropriate systems.

- Ensure proper data transfer between systems.

- Edit gas and oil volumes as needed.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of oil and gas measurement experience.

- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

- Proficiency in FlowCal, Testit, or equivalent software tools.

- Strong analytical and computer skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Team-oriented with strong collaboration abilities.

- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
