The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks for rest.

Reporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor/Planner, the Underground Electrician main responsibilities are:
- Perform maintenance on electrical equipment and resolve equipment related issues.
- Perform maintenance of production equipment (MacLean, Jumbo, Splh) and others.
- Repair and restart communication equipment (Leaky Feeder)
- Install new equipment.
- Perform low and medium voltage electrical modifications and installations.
- Perform ventilation modifications and installations.
- Perform all other related tasks.
- Hold a Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in construction electricity (or equivalent).
- Have 2 to 5 years of experience in maintenance, repair and underground electrical installation.
- Experience working in remote areas.
- Ability to diagnose problems on various equipment and to interpret plans and specifications.
- Possess FMTM Mining Modules 1,2,3,4,5,7.
- Possess a Quebec explosives permit.
- Possess a "C" License as an electrician.
- Knowledge of Autocad software.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel.
- Have already used a maintenance software.
- Knowledge of Schneider, Benshaw, ABB products: variable frequency drives, starters, and programmable logic controllers
