We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Material Scientist with a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field to join our research and development team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing advanced materials for next-generation fuel cells and battery technologies. This position requires a strong background in materials characterization, synthesis, and electrochemistry, with a proven track record in fuel cell and battery research.
1. Design, develop, and characterize novel materials for fuel cell and battery applications, including electrolytes, electrodes, catalysts, and membrane materials.
2. Conduct experiments and analyses to investigate the properties, performance, and durability of materials under various operating conditions.
3. Synthesize and fabricate materials using advanced techniques such as chemical deposition, sol-gel processing, and electrochemical deposition.
4. Utilize various characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, spectroscopy, and electrochemical methods, to analyze material structures and properties.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, engineers, and technicians, to develop and optimize fuel cell and battery systems.
6. Prepare technical reports, and patent applications to document research findings and intellectual property.
7. Present research results at internal meetings, conferences, and industry events.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior researchers.
1. Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field with a focus on fuel cells, batteries, or electrochemistry.
2. Minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral or industry experience in fuel cell and battery materials research.
3. Extensive knowledge of materials synthesis, characterization, and electrochemical techniques.
4. Hands-on experience with fuel cell and battery testing and evaluation methods.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
