Team Member will gather all of their supplies (rags/gloves) and be in their work area and ready to work at the beginning of their shifts.
Team Member will work with all other support departments to help get product through the plant.
Team Member will keep area clean which includes, keeping parts/tails cleaned up off of the floor, sweep under and around your machine, keep set up parts are put on rack at end of order and clean off all tooling when taking out a job and setting one up. All tools are to be cleaned before putting away.
Adhere to all Company policies including all safety requirements outlined in Team Member handbook. Cages and guards around rollers are to in use at all times.
Team Members who will be absent or late must call in and talk to their Team Leader. Allowing you to make your time up will be left up to the discretion of your Team Leader.
Communication between both shifts is mandatory. You will need to meet with the person coming in to relieve you. 2nd shift will need to leave notes.
Team Member working in the wire processing area must be able to process raw rusty material through, acid bath, rinse bath and lime coating using overhead crane and forklift.
Team Member working at the draw block must be able to label processed material correctly through Plex.
Team Member must be able to differentiate between correct and incorrect processing time through visual inspection of the wire pickling system.
Team Member must be able to select the correct draw die size, set up the draw block and process wire through the draw operation.
Team Member must be able to demonstrate the correct use and show competence in the use of micrometers, calipers, scale, gauges and blueprints.
Team Member must be able to comprehend Plex control panel.
Team Member must be able to select the correct tooling for the straightener, header, and pointer according to part print.
All scrap material lying on floor must be put in scrap containers.
Must be able to work overtime
