Material Handler

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Using light duty forklift load/unload pipe and fittings into containers, or trucks safely and efficiently

- Rigger-using hand signals guide the crane and/or forklift operators

- Ensure load is correctly tied down to prevent pipe damage and load is safe for transport

- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures

- Comply with all Health Safety Environment policies, guidelines, and procedures

- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures

- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

- Three years of verifiable work history

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

- Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Bending/Stooping 6 to 8 hours daily

- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) 6 to 8 hours daily

- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
