The Material Handler at Aqua-Chem will be working primarily in a manufacturing setting with the roles of material handling, use of company ERP system, and the transfer and staging of materials. A successful candidate will work under the direction of the Manufacturing Operations Manager facilitating flow of parts and product.
Schedule: (1st Shift) Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (OT may be required on Friday's 6:00am - 2:30pm)
Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.00/hr, Dependent on Experience

- Perform rigging, lifting and moving of product using cranes, forklifts, metal carts etc.
- Transfer / stage materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
- Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
- High School Diploma/GED required
- At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment
- At least 1 year forklift
- Overhead crane experience is a plus
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Physical Skill and Effort: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on cement surfaces and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders, and climb stairs
- Will require working in areas up to 15 feet from the ground.
- Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding to the outside ambient temperatures
- Able to work overtime as required
