Material Handler/Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

Urban Mining CT LLC (UMCT) is recruiting for a candidate that can operate a Forklift (Skid steer experience a plus, but not necessary) to produce and inventory supersacks, band and secure and load/offload trucks at our manufacturing facility in Beacon Falls.

You will work both indoor and outdoor including in inclement weather.

Running the facility floor and housekeeping are also required.

· High school graduate or equivalent (required)

· Forklift Certified

Microsoft Excel knowledge a plus

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screen, drug test, and physical exam

Additional Job Role and Duties:

· Assist others as assigned

· Safely operate small power/hand tools

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work at heights & confined spaces, precarious places such as on ladders/man-lifts

· Ability to push, pull, squat, stand and walk through the majority of the workday

· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

· Ability to wear personal protective equipment including a respirator (training provided)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
