Material Handler (Forklift), 1st Shift

What You Will Do:

- Move Material: Operate lift trucks to transport, store, rotate, and stage materials within the service center, review product counts to ensure accuracy

- Maintain Safety: Perform daily lift truck inspections, move up and down from lift truck, and report any equipment issues

- Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with team to meet goals, contribute to housekeeping procedures, and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

- Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required. Lift truck experience is a must.

- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes & procedures, and effective communication skills.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

What Makes You Stand Out:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- One (1) year of lift truck operation experience

- Lift truck experience handling heavy loads (10,000 pounds or more)

- Prior steel experience
