LOCATION
This role will maintain an on-site presence at our facility in Delta, PA.
The predominant schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, but will rotate and work 2nd shift for 2 weeks out of every 10 weeks. Additionally, occasional shift changes and weekend hours may be required, based on facility needs. This role will require the ability to work a varied shift/schedule on short notice.
The Material Handler performs warehousing duties such as receiving, shipping, storage, inventory, issue and staging of nuclear safety and non-safety related materials (including hazardous and non-hazardous materials). Ensures materials are handled, documented, stores and segregated in accordance with applicable site, ANSI, OSHA, and NRC procedures and requirements. Maintains warehouse security for materials designated for protected area use. Maintain qualifications for commercial material transportation. Operates PC for associated data entry and query functions. Acts as OCC member as needed Operates forklifts and trucks. Performs work outside, such as unloading storing, picking, and inventory materials. Handles materials weighing up to 50 pounds. May be required to fill an Emergency Response Org (ERO) position.

- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Knowledge of warehousing activities and materials handling and storage methods
- Basic knowledge of inventory control activities
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to operate a computer/CRT and perform basic math equations associated with inventory control
- Able to work multiple shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift and weekends as needed.
- Able to work mandatory overtime.
- Nuclear experience, highly preferred
- Prior materials handling or warehouse experience
- Experience operating forklifts
- Intermediate computers skills, including experience using MS Office programs and Asset Suite 9 or similar inventory control software
