Material Coordinator I (Onsite: New Iberia, LA)

The Material Coordinator I under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.

- Pay Rate: Up to $18.00/hour on W2, depending on experience

- Assignment Length: 12-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

- Shift Details: 40 Hours plus possible overtime | some weekends included

Responsibilities

- Responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities.

- Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.

- Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED is required.

- Proficiency in operating forklifts is essential. Certification is a plus.

- Previous experience operating overhead cranes is required. Certification is preferred.

- Experience in material handling, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials safely and efficiently.

- Basic computer skills are necessary for data entry and inventory management.

- Familiarity with using standard hand tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes in daily operations.
