Material Coordinator I (Onsite: Lafayette, LA)

The Material Coordinator I under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.

- Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour on W2, depending on experience

- Assignment Length: 12-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

- Shift Details: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm with some flexibility

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization through various clean-up and housekeeping activities.

- Perform additional duties and activities as directed by management to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Experience with operating cranes, forklifts, scan guns, and drills.

- Proficiency in crating and packaging materials.

- Previous experience in an operations environment is preferred.

- PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

- Crane operation experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

- Familiarity with handheld scanners and lift truck operations is advantageous.

- Strong teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

- Commitment to maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks.

- Basic computer skills with the ability to use relevant applications.
