The Job- Master Electrician/ Wastewater Construction
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications, and demonstrate proficiency in the use of various electrical tools and equipment. This role involves working on construction sites, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and performing installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Duties
•Lead and manage electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations.
•Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
•Utilize power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters effectively for various tasks.
•Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement corrective measures.
•Collaborate with construction crew to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
•Valid Massachusetts Master Electrician license or equivalent certification.
•Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
•Prior experience working public infrastructure, pump stations, water, waste-water treatment ideal, but not required.
•Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
•Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety procedures associated with them.
•Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
•Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients on construction sites.
•Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
