Alteriver is an emerging market leader in the development, manufacture and sale of specialised protective anti-corrosion coatings for oil country tubular goods and associated equipment. As a rapidly expanding Houston based company, we are looking for the right people to join our team.
The marketing specialist position is an exciting position for aspiring professionals eager to learn and develop by joining a rapidly growing team in the Oil and Gas industry. Primary responsibilities are focused on being the main marketing focal point within the organisation, creating and leading all marketing initiatives and assisting with branding work for the leadership team. The candidate will report directly to the CEO and have the opportunity to work on many varied projects, as well as assisting the leadership team directly. Work is flexible and largely remote, with some office presence in Houston, TX, required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Adapt paperwork and marketing materials to new brand standards – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
•Arrange promotional materials
•Organise client entertainment
•Organise team building events
•Assist with sporting events with clients
•Design marketing materials (presentations, posters etc)
•Liaise with website designers to ensure compliance with brand requirements
•Focal point for Social Media engagement – design and post content, engage with relevant external partners
•Monitor website, Social Media statistics and create analytics reports
•Create online and offline marketing content
•Empower the sales team with marketing content and campaigns that help drive sales
•Aid in paperwork tasks, filling in forms
•Assist in preparing client-facing documents, aligning existing documents with company branding
•Keep minutes of meetings
•Arrange transportation, accommodation, as required
•Assist in expense reporting
•Liaise with 3rd party contractors on administrative matters
•Assist in collecting documentation for 3rd party events (conferences, exhibitions etc)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Marketing degree or equivalent is strongly preferred
•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), team work, conflict resolution.
•Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal partners and technical team.
•Fluent English – mandatory.
•The ability to analyse data and spot trends
•Creative skills, including writing, design and video editing (preferred)
•Numerical skills, including compiling and analysing spreadsheets
•Advanced IT skills, including using spreadsheets to analyse data and creative software to design visual content.
