Peaks Renewables is a renewable energy development company specializing in the development of low carbon, carbon-neutral, and carbon-negative renewable natural gas projects leveraging a range of different feedstocks and technology types. We have an exciting opportunity Marketing Development Intern. This position offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity from our Portland, ME office.
Peaks’ strategy for the development, acquisition and operation of renewable natural gas facilities is clear, the business is working to develop strategies to thoughtfully and efficiently enter new tangential markets including CO2 liquefaction and monetization as well as CO2 sequestration, liquid and solid organic fertilizer, and biochar. Through the anaerobic digestion process and the production of renewable natural gas, Peaks facilities will produce coproducts that can be upgraded and monetized in these markets. The Market Development Intern is responsible for developing a go-to-market strategy to inform Peaks’ market entry strategy into the CO2 liquefaction and sequestration markets. Depending on progress on the main project, the Intern may assist with developing similar strategies for fertilizer and/or biochar markets. There may also be opportunities to support with ongoing M&A processes to the extent diligence support is needed for any of these markets.
