The Visser Precision Manufacturing team located in Denver, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Support Associate.
The Manufacturing Support Associate is responsible for assisting the manufacturing activities of the business. In this role, your job duties will include keeping the shop clean and organized, assisting the facilities and machine maintenance team, driving a forklift to move and organize materials, support shipping and receiving activities, running local errands, and performing part deliveries in the company vehicles, supporting production activities by participating in the assembly of components as needed. - Work with facilities lead and senior management to keep shop clean and organized.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities on the machines.
- Be the extra set of hands for the facilities and machine maintenance projects.
- Complete part deliveries and run local errands as needed.
- Work with machine shop to keep tool crib clean and organized.
- Support production activities as needed (assembly, saw, machine operation)
- THIS JOB REQUIRES A Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to work in a team-based collaborative environment where priorities change frequently
- Self-motivated
- Forklift experience
- Ability to fully complete tasks given, timely, and effectively.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Physical stamina
- Attention to detail
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
