Manufacturing Machine Floater

Job Summary

A new division, of an established aerospace company, is looking to add a dedicated Machine Operator/Floater to join our team at a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the production environment. This role will be cross trained in all areas and support the facility where needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The position is classified as full-time, Non-Exempt. Typical days and hours of work are Monday to Thursday 5am-3pm. On a workload basis this position may require additional scheduled days and hours.

DUTIES:

Support each department on day-to-day basis depending on needs of the business. Manufacturing and machine operating skillset are a benefit. Day to day physical labor and general warehouse/production duties. The Floater will support the business in its production needs. Employee will be responsible to work in several areas of the plant as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

 Forklift experience is required

 Manufacturing/ Machine Operating a plus

 Strong communication skills

 High School Diploma or GED

 Positive Attitude

 Ability to work with all levels of employees

 Demonstrated initiative

 Must be a team player

 Must be self-directed, and prepared to take on additional responsibilities when asked

 Willingness to work overtime
