Position Summary: The Booth Operator is responsible for operating designated manufacturing equipment or booths as assigned by the supervisor. This role includes machine setup, operation, quality checks, minor maintenance, and safety compliance. The operator ensures parts are processed according to production specifications, maintains accurate tracking of materials, and supports a clean and organized work environment.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in manufacturing or machine operation. Training on forklift and overhead crane usage will be provided.

- Operate assigned machines or booths following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Start and monitor dust collectors during operation.
- Verify that incoming and outgoing quantities match job specifications.
- Inspect material for surface finish and blast quality according to work instructions.
- Secure materials before processing; ensure proper loading/unloading procedures are followed.
- Utilize overhead cranes, forklifts, and other handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret shop orders, blueprints, and customer specifications.
- Ensure job folders travel with materials and are updated as required.
- Maintain and clean assigned machinery, including dust collection systems.
- Assist team members with setup, cleanup, and processing as needed.
- Participate in 6S initiatives to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.
- Support cross-functional projects and complete tasks assigned by supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime or outside of standard hours as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude: previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and adhere to SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Comfortable using computers and company software for documentation and tracking.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and moderate noise.
- May be exposed to dust, oil, and moving mechanical parts.
- Proper PPE and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Required to lift and move materials up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to visually assess measurements, surface conditions, and overall product quality.
