MANUFACTURING ASSEMBLER I
This position is an entry-level position within the Dairyland Manufacturing team. This person is responsible for keeping prep assemblies completed and helping where necessary. This person reports to the Manufacturing and Quality Manager.

Competencies (required Education, Training, Skills, And/or Experience)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Computer literate working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills/ team player.

Primary Responsibilities (functions, Job Duties, Tasks, Etc.)
- Print/prep labels and documents for orders via use of a computer.
- Assist Manufacturing Assemblers with GIs, OVPs, OVP2s, PCRs, SSDs, and Switches.
- Prep packaging materials for product/orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate assembling functions.
- Prep assemblies needed to support Manufacturing Assemblers and the schedule.
- Work in Work Cells where needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Reports to Manufacturing Manager and Quality Manager.
- Receives scheduling direction from the Manufacturing Floor Lead.
- Regular contact with Supply Chain Manager, Shipping Coordinator, Material Handler, Buyer, and other Manufacturing Assembler.
- Ability to frequently stand, sit, walk, reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel.
- Frequent lifting of materials of up to and sometimes exceeding 50 pounds.
