Manage day-to-day treasury operations including administration of the company’s daily liquidity and cash management operations, requirements, and reporting; responsible for the maintenance and administration of the company’s letter of credit and bank guarantee facilities; handle all short-term cash investing activities and relationships; facilitate international cash movements and foreign exchange risk management; and supervise a team of treasury professionals.
- Manage daily cash movements, liquidity, working capital, and company funding requirements.
- Create and enhance short-term cash forecasting.
- Work closely with banks and external counterparties to find products that help optimize the cash funding requirements and cash movement facilitation.
- Bank account management.
- Support all refinancing and other capital markets activities.
- Assist in global banking relationship management in conjunction with Treasurer.
- Ensure timely treasury payments and necessary journal entries.
- Help lead treasury technology implementation and ensure best practices.
- Manage accounting and reporting requirements for treasury operations.
- Treasury budgeting, bank fee management, and cash investing optimization.
- Problem solve collaboratively with banks and internal departments (particularly tax and accounting) to address any issues or questions that arise pertaining to bank accounts, bank transactions, signatory authority, investments and bank documents
- Work collaboratively to manage, support, and backup other treasury team members
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and controls, balancing SOX and compliance requirements with maintaining efficiency in operations.
- Lead management and implementation of treasury operations policies and procedures
- Demonstrate the H&P company values: Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, and Teamwork
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other relevant business discipline
- 5+ years corporate treasury experience- Knowledge of public company reporting requirements, and impact on treasury operations and record management
- Certified Treasury Professional preferred
- Experienced with Oracle, Fides, TM5 preferred
- Historical hands-on experience with treasury systems and operations, with experience in international treasury management a significant added benefit.
- Ability to manage team of treasury professionals, ensuring prioritization of workflows and maintaining business continuity.
- Experience with implementing new systems and processes to drive efficiency.
- Experience with key treasury and finance agreements, including revolving credit facilities, standby letter of credit and corporate guarantee facilities, and other bank account or investment management products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self – starter who collaborates well with internal and external stakeholders while working independently
- Aptitude to learn new technology, products, and concepts
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Familiarity with public company accounting, controls, and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and drive continuous process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member; to set priorities and respond to changing demands from multiple sources.
