Expected salary range of $150,300 to $167,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Manage the implementation and maintenance of the Standardized Radiological Emergency Plan at the assigned Clean Energy Center. Provide support and guidance to site personnel in implementation of the Clean Energy Center's emergency planning requirements. Serves as Site primary contact to the community emergency management community along with the plant manager/site VP.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Program Management manage the Emergency Preparedness activities schedule for the Clean Energy Center including negotiation of resources with other Functional Area Managers. Manage the Clean Energy Center Emergency Preparedness Budget. Provide oversight and support of Self-Assessments, Audits and Inspections. Coordinate Clean Energy Center Performance Improvement indicator data and reports. Review of Plan/Annex/Procedures/Technical &Regulatory Matters and 50.54(q)s.
•Drills and Exercises- management of the Clean Energy Center drill schedule, supervision and guidance of the Scenario development team, lead the Clean Energy Center drill evaluation team and develop Clean Energy Center drill reports
•Emergency Response Organization Qualification and Administration- manage the Clean Energy Center Emergency Response Organization qualification and re-qualifications oversee the maintenance of Clean Energy Center Emergency Response Organization Duty Roster, oversee the maintenance of Clean Energy Center Emergency Response Organization training records.
•Offsite Interface maintain working relationships Local agencies and support the maintenance of agreements for assistance specific to the Clean Energy Center.
•Facilities and Equipment Provide oversight of Clean Energy Center maintenance of facilities and equipment utilized implementation and maintenance of the Emergency Plan.
•All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Technical Field with 8 years of related experience OR
•Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 8 years of related experience OR
•Associate's degree in a technical field with 10 years of related experience OR
•High School Diploma with 12 years of related experience
•Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•5 years in Site or Corporate Emergency Preparedness, Radiation Protection, Operations, Licensing, Training, or Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) Chemistry experience
•SRO License or Certification
•Currently or previously certified as a nuclear station instructor under an INPO/ACAD accredited training program
