We are seeking an experienced and innovative Manager of Projects to lead a team of Project Managers and manage a portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from conception through execution. This role is central to the delivery of strategic priorities that drive business growth, operational excellence, and client satisfaction across a diverse range of project types.
Our work spans environmental compliance campaigns (including large-scale facility walk-downs), brownfield expansions, and greenfield projects for production, midstream, and downstream facilities in the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will bring strong project governance, cross-functional leadership, and field-savvy execution.
- Contribute to the development of corporate goals, KPIs, and success metrics
- Implement and oversee team initiatives that align with overall business objectives
- Advise senior leadership on project prioritization, risk management, and performance indicators
- Support budget creation and management
- Lead the planning and oversight of a range of environmental, brownfield, and greenfield infrastructure projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined scope and quality
- Establish and champion standardized project management frameworks, tools, training, and best practices
- Oversee project resourcing needs and drive optimization across internal and external teams
- Act as PM on a few projects at any given point in time
- Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing team of project managers
- Foster a culture of accountability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement
- Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials effectively across a dynamic project portfolio
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and leadership
- Establish and oversee a consistent process for measuring and improving client satisfaction
- Track project KPIs, budgets, milestones, and portfolio performance metrics
- Proactively identify risks and roadblocks; deploy mitigation strategies and escalation processes
- Produce concise, executive-ready dashboards and reports to inform leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA and/or business leadership experience is preferred)
- 15+ years of project or program management experience, with 5+ years in a mid-senior leadership role- Proven success delivering large-scale, cross-functional, and technically complex projects
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing capital and operational budgets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and change-management leadership skills
- Proficiency in a project management platform (e.g., MS Project, Projector)

- Industry experience in energy, environmental compliance, or oil and gas infrastructure
- Familiarity with brownfield and greenfield development, especially across production, midstream, or downstream facilities
- Experience leading large-scale environmental campaigns and multi-site field operations
- Exposure to digital transformation or sustainability initiatives
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and guide teams through evolving technical challenges

Final compensation may vary based on the candidate’s education, experience, and alignment with preferred qualifications. In addition to base compensation, the selected candidate will receive:
- Fully covered medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as participation in a 401(k) plan
- Eligibility for an annual performance bonus based on achievement of objectives
The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States, with a strong preference for a Denver-based candidate.
