We are currently seeking a hardworking, motivated
Project Manager/Project Engineer
to join our team!
Capital Engineering offers a standard 5-day work week, or a condensed 4-day work week. However, all successful candidates must be willing to work in the office, not remotely.
- Project management/engineer experience in design and field experience for brownfield and/or greenfield industrial projects (e.g. utility, oil & gas, oil sands, refinery, petrochemical).
- Registered with APEGA, (or an equivalent Canadian Association)
- Manage multiple assigned projects.
- Plan, organize and direct the engineering workforce.
- Manage ongoing definition of the scope of work through its different engineering phases.
- Manage project KPI’s, including cost, schedule, quality and safety.
- Provide leadership in the planning, development, acceptance, and delivery of engineering and project management deliverables.
- Manage project budgets and changes in a very dynamic work environment.
- Continually manage cost, schedule, quality and safety of all projects in your portfolio.
- Act as the main communication link between Client project stakeholders.
- Provide leadership in the planning, development, acceptance, and delivery of engineering and project management deliverables.
- Be responsible for presenting project decisions and recommendations to Client Stakeholders.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management (Minimum 2 years of Canadian experience).
- Experience in Oil and Gas, mining and utilities facilities project engineering.
- Self-starter with strong technical, interpersonal, teamwork, problem solving, communication, multi- tasking and organizational skills.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Experience in writing proposals for small to medium sized projects
- Must be capable of conducting field visits at client facilities, as required.
