We are seeking a Project Manager with an engineering background and direct experience in the power industry—ideally in transformers, substations, or power delivery. This role is responsible for the successful execution of complex transformer projects for strategic customers. The ideal candidate is technically strong, customer-focused, and experienced in coordinating efforts across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and field services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer projects, providing consistent, transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment across engineering, supply chain, production, and field services.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, milestones, and risks to meet both customer and company goals.
- Conduct regular customer status calls, updates, and progress reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor project scope and proactively manage changes or escalations.
- Ensure project documentation, deliverables, and contract terms are met and communicated effectively.
- Represent the customer’s voice internally while balancing business priorities and constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Several years of experience in the power industry—such as transformers, substations, utilities, or power delivery—is essential.
- Proven ability to manage complex technical projects in a manufacturing or EPC environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Excel, ERP systems).
- PMP certification is not required.
- Familiarity with transformers, substations, or power systems.
- Experience working with utility, renewable, or industrial clients.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 10–20%).
