Manager of Construction Operations
Position Overview: The Manager of Construction Operations is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the lighting replacement, welding and construction operations personnel within the organization. This role involves managing and coordinating the activities of field operations supervisors and personnel and ensuring the smooth functioning of operational activities. Manager of Construction Operations is accountable for maintaining service reliability, optimizing resource utilization, and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
•Leadership and Team Management:

+ Lead team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.

+ Set clear goals and objectives for the team and monitor progress to ensure successful outcomes.
+ Oversee the daily operations of the personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
+ Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
+ Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce costs.
+ Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
•Resource Planning and Optimization:
+ Coordinate with project operations to plan resource requirements, including staffing, equipment, and materials, to meet operational needs.
+ Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
+ Conduct regular assessments of infrastructure and equipment to identify maintenance and upgrade needs.
+ Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to construction operations.
+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
+ Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting as required by regulatory agencies.
+ Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team.
+ Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technological advancements.
+ Encourage innovation and implement best practices to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•Experience in Flux Core Welding, preferably with Innershield
•Level II NDT in VT, MT, UT and PT preferred
•CWI or proficiency in D1.1 code preferred
•Proven experience in operations leadership role, preferably in the same industry.
•Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
•Sound knowledge of welding and construction, regulations, and industry best practices.
•Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach.
•Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
•Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Familiarity with relevant software applications and tools for data analysis and reporting.
Physical Requirements
•Mobility and Endurance: Often need to move around various job sites, which can require standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
•Strength and Dexterity: They may need to lift, carry, or handle equipment and materials, though the level of physical labor varies by industry. Some may require handling tools or machines.
•Stamina and Flexibility: Field work can involve irregular hours, with the need to remain active, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.
•Hand-Eye Coordination: For overseeing machinery, using tools, or demonstrating tasks to team members, good coordination is essential.

•Travel: Travel to job sites is required at least 50% of the time.

Salary Range: $120,000-155,000
