Annual salary: $ 127,900.00 - 161,800.00

Position Highlights

The PCM Contracts & Field Management (CFM) department is accountable for managing the contract functions to support

the efficient delivery of services, managing contractor performance, and managing the Quality Assurance process to confirm

construction compliance with Distribution Standards. The Sr Quality Assurance manager is responsible to ensure

compliance to BC Hydro standards.

What you'll do

The Manager, Contracts & Quality Assurance is responsible for:

People Leadership

executing and tracking quality inspections on civil underground construction, managing performance of external inspection

contractors, and reporting on Quality Assurance results.

approving scope changes, controlling costs, and completing work on Regional Optimized Contracts (ROC) Civil

Underground Construction contracts within and outside the Lower Mainland.

employee engagement goals of the team

Operations Leadership

implementing plans to meet these targets.

create short term, nonstrategic contracts supporting service delivery of the group.

controls enforcement, safety requirements mandated by BC Hydro Safety, complying with NERC/CIP requirements, and

meeting external regulator expectations, such as WorkSafe BC and EGBC quality expectations.

Relationships

organization including Program Management fiscal work delivery commitments, Small Capital Projects work delivery,

Customer Connect, and D & T Line Emergency support services for Trouble and Storm response.
