Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

•

High School Diploma/GED

•

Over 5 years in an industrial environment.

•

Ability to use measuring equipment.

•

Working with and be able to interpret drawings and specifications.

•

Any combination of education, training experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

•

Advanced technical or vocational training is preferred.

•

Skills and ability in basic electricity and at least one other recognized craft

•

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

•

Follows and complies with established safety, quality, and work practices and procedures.

•

Make routine repairs and adjustments to facility, production machines and equipment systems.

•

Lead and train others as assigned.

•

Completes routine electrical repairs and general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.

•

Disassemble machinery and equipment and , under instruction, replace worn, faulty parts and reassemble.

•

Requisition and/or purchase parts, supplies and materials.

•

Maintain Machine Shop tools and equipment.

•

Track and record work history and maintain inventory of parts and supplies on a daily basis using a CMMS.

•

Creates work orders for planned and unplanned work using computerized maintenance system.

•

Estimates job material requirements and cost.

•

Prepares work area prior to beginning and after completion of a job.

•

Reads and maintains accessible blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, etc.

•

Work extended hours and on weekend shifts as needed.

•

Follow all Lockout/Tagout requirements and safety procedures.

•

Wears proper PPE for job preformed.

•

Maintain equipment to ensure quality products.

•

Keep work area clean and clear of clutter and debris.

Position Details

•

Full Time/Shift: 4:45am-1:30pm

•

Located in: Jacksonville, FL
