Maintenance Technician

CURRENTLY HIRING FOR:

AFTERNOON SHIFT 1PM- 11PM - 5 positions available

MIDNIGHT SHIFT 11PM-9AM - 5 positions available

This position will include a weekend rotation with the option for overtime.

Additional hourly Pay rate is determined by competency levels in the following:

Electrical:

$1.00

Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s):

$1.00

Mechanical Dynamics (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings and drives) and

Mechanical Statics (welding, plumbing, burners and gas devices, Hvac):

Any four of seven categories: $0.75

Remaining three categories: $0.75

CNC repair and troubleshooting, PLC operator interfaces:

All elements: $1.25

Advanced Certifications:

Advanced PLC: $2.00

Advanced Electrical: $1.75

Advanced Hydraulic Troubleshooting: $1.50

Role and Responsibilities

Candidate must be able to work on heavy machinery and aluminum extrusion presses. Experience with motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, single phase and three phase electricity, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

It may be obligatory for an individual vying for this position to carry out diverse conventional tasks as well as highly skilled mechanical activities such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC and welding.

Multiple tasks in this sense may include repair, maintenance, alteration, installation, fabrication, construction and creation of facility units which require utilization of skills in problem solving, teamwork, communication, giving attention to detail and abiding by safety guidelines.

Duties are performed in a loud and uncontrolled environment (production setting) subject to extreme temperatures. Some duties may be required to be performed outside.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Previous Electrical experience is a plus.
